NEW IN 2013 This spring, Chicks embarked on a float replacement program for the entire marina. For 2013, all of the main floats including the area from the ramp to the fuel pumps as well as the entire frontage along the main channel have been replaced.
Chicks Marina comfortably accommodates power and sail vessels to 150 feet on our floating docks. We have deep water dockage and slips (dredged to 7’ feet at MLW in 2009) for transient or seasonal stays.
In 2008, the marina building was completely renovated to include two new private bathrooms with ensuite showers. Laundry facilities are also located on site for your convenience. In addition, new 30/50/100 amp electric service, cable TV, water and wireless internet was installed to ensure uninterrupted service during your stay. Our staff can also arrange for boat repairs, general maintenance or diving work.
The marina sells both 91 octane gasoline (10% Ethanol) and diesel (ultra low sulphur). The entire fuel system was replaced in 2008 and most boats can be conveniently fueled from their own slip. Fuel discounts are available for bulk purchases, as well as to our seasonal customers. Please inquire with the marina staff.
Chicks Marina will gladly assist you with any arrangements during your stay. Be it a car rental, taxi reservation, dinner reservation, kayak rental or bicycle rental, our friendly staff is always glad to assist with their “local” knowledge. Golf, tennis, and hotel facilities are also nearby, as is provisioning of food and drinks directly to your boat.
